Due to the popularity of Safetyflex's surface mount Crash Block, our design team have responded to client requests to transform the block into a Surface Mount Planter that can be integrated with a bench to fit seamlessly into existing public realm schemes whilst providing instant HVM protection. Surface Mount Planter 40 has been crash tested to stop a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at 40mph/64kph. It is completely free standing, requiring no foundations, pinning, or fixings, so can be installed and removed in as little as 1 hour, eliminating the need for unpredictable and lengthy excavation works. An additional benefit of Surface Mount Planter 40 is that as well as providing Instant HVM protection, it can also be used as flood defence along river banks.
